Standardized subsystem integration
The mass-transit, long-distance network, and freight transportation vehicles of the future won’t just perform transportation tasks – they’ll also become adaptive and intelligent systems that are always ready to integrate new technologies at any point during their lifecycle. This requires a denser networking of subsystems and the recording, preprocessing, and storage of maintenance-related operational data in the control system. The data still has to be transferred to the operator’s track-side maintenance system. We validate the entire integration, perform functional safety verifications, and conduct test engineering procedures – all at the highest technology standards, whether it’s model-based software engineering, subsystem integration for the vehicle control unit, or development of the basic system.
